Self Portrait

The best images to use on our posts are ones we have created ourselves or our own photos. We have been using Google Drawing to create our own and have learnt how to use new tools to make a self portrait. We took a selfie and had to make sure we had our head and shoulders in the picture before we fitted it to the page. Next we used the polyline tool to draw around our face because it is the only line tool that you can colour in. This was tricky because we had to use polyline and sometimes I would feget how to use polyline and I would not get it back in my head. Next we had to match our skin colour and then we went into the custom tool so we could make our fill transparent. We did this so we could try out seeing what our faces would look out at the end and my face looked very good. We used the magnifying tool to make our face get a good outline so we did not look bad. I’m happy with the way my face looks on my self portrait because it was a little bit hard to do. I will have to work on my hair next time because it did look a little bit scruffy.

We have been doing a school Musical and the hole school has done it as well and it was very fun to do and we had to do three shows and one was in the day time and we had two shows in the night time. At the Musical we had to sing very fun songs and we got to peform in front of a school. And we do get to peform in front of the pearents as well.

In the holidays I did some cool things i went to marnie house on the friday after school to 5.00 and then I went home and walk in the door and we had oils and we all put them on us and go to smell very good. On saturday i went to my sisters netball and then i did something with marnie kyle at the highschool when there was rugby on and marnie was there with her dad and i was there to get things ready for fiji with my mum and then i went home and had tea and watched tv.

Read to yourself or someone Hello I am here to tell you what explanations are for reading You can read on sites of the internet like Epic and PM collection and lots of other sites on the internet. When people are reading they need to follow the words so you can know what they are reading to you and making sure it makes sense. You can read a book from your house and from the library or anywhere else or place. You can read any reading book that you like and from were we want to get the book from. You can read to anyone or you can read to your friends and your family who ever you like. You can read a chapter book from the library so you can learn about more reading in big books. SJ P2 N1 2008 - Nana and the Flower Arranger Who was the flower arranger? Why do you think this? The man that gets people into the coffins got the flowers ready Why did you think the boy didn’t stare into the deep hole but instead stared into the bush? Because he was really sad and he did not want to cry in front of everyone that is why he did not look. Grandad added feathers onto Nana’s coffin because she had always kept them on her dressing table. Why did you think the white sweet peas and the nautilus shell were placed on the coffin? So they could remember her from dying and they would not get sad . What do you think you might put on your Nana’s coffin, if you were in the same situation? We would put lot of flowers to be happy so we could remember her. Do you think Nana will be happy in “that deep hole”? Why/why not? No because it would be lonely and boring. It would be quiet for her. Why do you think this is the first time in weeks they have laughed? Because it is peace fall in there.
