Camp writing

Room 3 camp by Maya Towers I learnt how to communicate with people in Shantytown. It was hard to do the writing because you had to make sure you did not write it lots of times.It was easy to get the photos and put them into Canva because you just had to screenshot the photo and upload it.

Animation

Me, Ashley and Amelia have been doing an animation with Plasticine. We did plants growing. We learnt how to make your movie move by taking photos of the plasticine them moving it and taking another photo. We learnt how to make plants grow in a garden with a water going over it.It was easy to make the things for the video. It was hard to do the video and the photos.I enjoyed making the people and the watering cans out of plasticine.

Reading Fluently and with Expression

We are learning to read fluently and with expression so when we read it make sense and sounds good. It was easy to explain expression because you just have to read with the same voice. It was hard to do write about reading fluently because you had to write about full stops.

Seed writing

We are learning to learn about seeds and how to grow a little garden. It was hard to describe the seed because we did not no what was on the seed. It was easy to talk about the flowers germination because that is when they grow.

Measuring

We are learning to do measuring and measuring the court with our ruler. I learnt where to start measuring from. Centimeters you use to measure small things and you use meters to measure longer things. It was easy to do the measuring because you had to do the snakes and ladders. It was hard to do the court because you had to use the big tape measure.

Beehive

I learnt about bees because we want to get a beehive at Kaniere School so we can get more honey. We learnt that bees can fly for three thousand seconds per hour.

Hermit Mansion

I learnt how to describe a photo describe is like you need to write what they are doing. It was easy to describe it because it was just like an ice cream cone.

DLO

I learnt how to do a DLO and I learnt how to do times tables. I learnt how to do arrays because it was a part of my maths and a array is like one line of one or two lines of two.

Teach your Monster to Read

Teach you Monster to Read by Maya We are learning to do Reviews and get better at them. It was easy to do all the capital letters and full stops and to do all the writing. It was hard to work on thinking of words to write. I think I did a very good job because you got to plan and it made it a little bit easier to write.

Narrative

Beginner's Challenge by Maya We were learning to do a Narrative. I learnt that you could put you writing on Canva. I learnt that you could write about the setting and the characters. It was easy to do all the pictures because you knew what photos you had to do. It was hard to put all the writing and photos in Canva.

We are learaning about different types of energy. I learnt that some energy makes cars work. It was easy to do get the photos. It was hard to get all the writing correct.

lines of symmetry

I have learnt that you have to make each side the same. It was hard to draw the shape on the other side. It was easy to do your own one because you could pick your own shapes. These are my shapes that I created they all have a line of symmetry.

When I'm wild

What was hard was thinking about the things that we do when we are wild. It was easy to do pixlr editor. WE were learning to use our imagination to make our writing interesting.

Fractions

We are learning about fractions. I found it hard to concentrate. It enjoyed putting the apple in the boxes.

Reflection Term 1

Maths was hard because some basic facts were hard to learn. Reading was easy because the words were little words and that make it easier to read in books. What I need to improve on is doing my jobs and do them in the right time. What have I learnt in term 1 is Writing and Mathematics . What have I liked doing In term 1 Writing and Reading. What have I not liked doing in term 1 Maths and Phonics Hero because you can learn more words. What I would like to use or do more of was Google Slides for writing.

Perseverance

WE are learning to know what perseverance mean. It was easy to put background on the slide and it was hard to do the writing because some words were tricky to spell.
